Lautoka hall rebuilt after cyclone
After Cyclone Winston in 2016 which caused extensive damage to the Lautoka fellowship hall in Fiji, well over $30,000 was raised by the Mission Fund in an appeal for funds throughout Australia.
Of those funds, $15,000 was used for immediate needs such as food and shelter where the damage was worst. The remaining funds were used to rebuild the Revival Fellowship hall at Lautoka which was completely destroyed.
Another $40,000 was also raised and further funds contributed from the Mission Fund so the Hall could be completed to a finished state in 2018.
The new hall was officially opened in August 2018, which has a capacity of 500 + people. This hall has been built to be cyclone resistant.
